Welcome to week 10 of Friday’s Fabulous Finds.
Hello Spring! You are beautiful. We hit some 70 degree weather this week and I’m loving it! Hope you’re finding some warmer weather in your part of the world!
Spring is here and I’m loving it. I shared this quote on Instagram this week and it’s a great reminder on those cold days that I just want to remember what warm feels like.

FABULOUS MOMENTS THIS WEEK
I’ve just begun to realize how much I like SnapChat. How did I come to that realization? The hard way!
I began flipping through my phone for photos this week and discovered that every great moment apparently got shared on SnapChat and I totally forgot to take ‘real’ photos. I don’t know where my brain was this week. We had some great moments outside, at the park etc and I took no photos except to share with family and such on Snapchat.
Lesson learned. Snap Chat is fun but I can’t forgot to download those cute shots or take a separate photo all together.
If you’re on SnapChat I’d love to find you. I’m at GatherForBread. And if you are, did you hear about this SnapChat billboard news?
That’s the living room. I’m currently painting. And as you can see in that moment I was having a moment of laziness. Goodbye green and beige walls. Hello gray! This picture is from last Saturday. So I’ve made some good progress. Hopefully I can share soon how it’s coming along.
One of my favorite weekend things is family meals together. This picture though…. Keeper! The boys watching Dad cook. Be still my heart.
Saturday’s corned beef and cabbage meal (this is a different roast picture) in the slow cooker turned out fabulous. I was really hoping for some leftovers to make this soup but that didn’t happen. Note for next year: Buy 2 roasts so there will be plenty for soup. Because it’s been too long since I’ve had it.

I’m looking to create a gallery wall on our large living room wall. It definitely needs to include family photos. In addition I want it to showcase who we are and what we are passionate it about. I found a pretty cool canvas this week to add to the wall. I’m also on the lookout for the perfect clock and some other cool pieces.
As I browsed the internet this week I found this cool plaque. The colors are perfect!
And this is more for inspiration. I love this coat hook board and I probably could easily re-create it at home with the colors I love. And i do love these colors for the record but maybe for a different space.
I’d like 2 of these please. One for the kitchen and one for the living room. I love creative ways to store and display stuff in the same space. This cute 3 tiered storage basket is sort of what I have been looking for to organize some of books/ mementos in living room.
But I’m still on the lookout for a cool clock. Either white or with teal or blue accents. I like the more distressed look. And the budget is $30 or less. So let me know if you come across a clock. I need suggestions!
In other parts of my life I’ve really been keeping my eye on this new Illustrated Faith Journaling Kit. I really want to try it. But is it a passion I’d stick with or just a new hobby that I can’t find time for? I’d love to hear from you. Do you have a journaling bible and if so when do you set aside the time to journal. In my 30 minutes of devotion/ prayer time in the morning it just seems like it wouldn’t fit in. But maybe I could make it part of the process.
Right now DaySpring is running a special and you get both kits for $50. Seems like a great deal if I’m set on trying it out.
And Amazon has a great price on one of the 2 bibles I have my eye on. Decisions, decisions. The NIV Beautiful Word bible is only $22.49 right now. The other one that I’m leaning towards is the Inspire Bible NLT and it’s only $24.99. I seem to enjoy reading the NLT more so maybe that’s the one I should go with. Do you have a journaling bible and if so what do you like about it? I need to make up my mind!
