Banana Chocolate Popsicles – How to make Fudgsicles/ Popsicles – Homemade fudgsicles made with milk, Greek yogurt and cocoa for a healthy DIY summer treat!
Chocolate and banana is one of my all time favorite combos. That’s the reason for these cupcakes and this breakfast favorite. Oh and these cookies and these awesome muffins. You’re starting to get the idea, right? This girl is serious about her banana and chocolate.
Some of my other favorites are yet to be posted….banana chocolate whoppie pies and banana chocolate pancakes. Oh don’t you worry. I’ll hook you up soon. I promise.
In the meantime I’m cooling down with these delicious treats. Seriously it’s 88 degrees in here at the moment. I had the oven on today. Then a storm passed through forcing me to close all the windows. So it like took all that warmness and held it in the kitchen. I’m about to crack and turn on the air conditioning.
There’s no good thing about not even wanting to sit because you’re too hot. So I think I’ll hand downstairs to the nice cool family room and pour myself a drink and veg out on the couch with the hubby. We started watching Prison Break. Oh my word….it’s like a love/hate. I hate all the violence. I have to close my eyes. But yet I don’t want to stop watching it because it’s such a great plot and storyline.
Have I mentioned how much I love these popsicle molds made by Trovolo? I purchased them a few months ago from Amazon. And I’ve been having great fun making popsicles ever since. Two of things I love: They are very sturdy. And they have a built in drip tray. The green/yellow curved bottom catches most of the drips. You know how that goes with the kids. So this helps a lot.
Anyway,I hope you give these tasty chocolate banana pops a try. They’re easy and icy cold. Which makes me happy.
Have a cool day friends!
Melanie

One of my very favorite treats in the summer is chocolate dipped bananas, but I hate how messy they can be when the chocolate starts to melt. You just saved my hands from messy distress, Melanie! 🙂

Oh my gosh Melanie – these look so good! But, it’s not that warm here yet, and we need at least a month of sunshine to dry out from where I come from! I’m keeping these on my list though, then I’m waiting patiently for an 86 degree day! Because these look delish!
Melanie says
Aww. I hear you Kristi! I could not wait for 80 degree days. And they’re finally here. So happy. Hoping for an 86 degree day for you soon!
