Cookie Dough Pie – No bake cookie dough pie combined with an Oreo chocolate cookie crust. Topped with homemade whipped topping. Delicious easy, dessert. Perfect for kids and adults!
This darling pie came out of my love for cookie dough. Any fellow ‘I-make-cookies-just-to-eat-the-dough’ lovers out there? It’s me 90% of the time. Who needs to the bake the cookies when you can just eat the dough? I mean…really.
So I decided that it was due time to start doing other things with my beloved cookie dough. So this is it. Cookie dough (edible of course) spread over a chocolate crust (Did I mention how easy this crust is?) and topped with homemade fresh whipped topping. (No Cool Whip).
That’s just cheating. I want the real stuff. You know what they say… Go big. Or go home. Well I go big. Big thighs. Big butt. This pie has got me covered. Because it’s all the real deal.
In all seriousness though, this pie is very rich. You’re gonna get more than 8 servings out of it. I recommend more like 10-12. You don’t want your guests to fall over from sugary sweet tooth overload, right? I didn’t think so. *wink*
I hope you give this pie a try. It’s lots of whole fresh ingredients and it whips up in a jiffy. That’s my kind of dessert.
While I was taking on the challenge of photographing this pie. My 11 year old comes along and decides he want to take pictures too. But he continued to step in my direct path of light so I had to tell him he would get a turn later. So I left that drizzled plate of chocolate sitting on the counter for him to use a bit later. (Not the pie, just the drizzled chocolate plate.)
Now I need a vote. Who thinks that plate was able to stay untouched on the counter???
That means no finger dredging, no licking, etc.
Now, I know you all know that I have 3 children under the age of 12. But was there by chance one beautiful moment in the span of my life that Mom put something on the counter and no one touched it???
Best guess. Votes start now…..
Thanks for being here friends!
Til we meet and eat again,

My husband buys the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies from local fundraisers but refuses to cook them…lol…so we’re right there with ya on the cookie dough. 🙂 I want this pie now please!
Melanie says
I’d be happy to share with you Tina!

I basically started baking just because I loved eating cookie dough so much… So this recipe is RIGHT up my alley… can’t wait to try it out!!! 🙂
Melanie says
You sound like my kind of girl Sam! Hope you’re having a beautiful day.
Natalie @ Tastes Lovely says
Oh how I love cookie dough. Sometimes even more than I like the cookies. I always eat the raw cookie dough, even though I’ll surely die of salmonella poisoning. Worth it!
Melanie says
Totally worth it. Brownie batter too!
Happy Wednesday Natalie!
Christine @ Cooking with Cakes says
honestly I’m impressed you were even able to take pics, I would have totally demolished this!!
Melanie says
Haha. You made me laugh. Just picturing myself devouring a pie and having to make a second. 🙂
Ashley | Spoonful of Flavor says
My oh my, please pass me a slice of this pie! I always have a batch of my cookie dough truffle balls on hand for when the cookie dough craving strikes. Otherwise, I probably would make an entire batch of dough and eat it all before baking them 🙂
Nicole @ Cooking for Keeps says
Everything that comes out of your kitchen seriously makes me drool — and I’m not even a dessert person really!
Shashi @ RunninSrilankan says
I am in my 30s and I would have had a hard time not dredging my finger through the drizzled chocolate on the plate – so am curious – what did your 11 yr old do?
This pie sounds fantastic but I dont think I should make it for my daughter and I cos, we would halve this pie and go to town with spoons – forgetting the fact that is was supposed to last 5-6 servings for the both of us!
Kathi @ Deliciously Yum! says
I didn’t think there was anything better than cookie dough until I came over here today! I am pretty sure that slice wouldn’t have lasted more than five seconds on our counter and considering you have kids, I’ll go with 2.475 seconds, ha! Seriously beautiful!
Allie | Baking a Moment says

Ashley @ My Midwest Table says
I’ll have a slice, please! I don’t think you can ever go wrong with cookie dough. But in pie form with homemade whipped cream? Yeah…I’d do some serious damage on this pie. Yum!

Are the chocolate wafer crumbs easy to find?
Melanie says
I used unfilled Oreo type wafer cookies ( I found them at a bulk food store.) Cream filled oreos would work well too. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
