Mango Vanilla Smoothie – A delicious smoothie blending the pure goodness of vanilla with mango. A delightful creamy breakfast drink. This healthy uses only 4 ingredients!
Mango is a very much new food love for me. Growing up we never ate it. And I probably never even tried the real deal until maybe about 5 years ago. So sad, I know. Especially for all you mango lovers. You’re probably wondering how I survived these many years without it.
But maybe that’s what makes it that much sweeter and dearer to my heart.
This recipe is so simple. I mean like SO simple. If you’re afraid of the kitchen this recipe is for you. It’s easy peasy and goes down smooth. Perfect as breakfast, mid-afternoon refresher or bedtime delight.
I honestly don’t care when you eat I just want you to try it. It so yummy!
2 minutes after I finished these photos my 6 year old slurped down this mango vanilla smoothie way quicker than I can imagine drinking a smoothie. Can you say brain breeze?
Nope. Not that boy. Nothing fazes him in the delightful world of food. He so sweetly looked at me mid slurping and said, “Mom, I think I’m drinking this too fast.” Because he knew I wanted a slurp too.
Vanilla is definitely something tried and true though. I love vanilla cupcakes and vanilla cake. And dare I say vanilla cauliflower? Yes, go check that one out! I’m serious.
One more thing I have to tell you. This has nothing to do with the recipe and everything to do with the pictures. That flower. Real or fake? See below.
What do you think? 2 of the kids thought it was fake. One thought it was real.
Guess what?
It’s real. So pretty. My daylilies are finally blooming. Woo-hoo for a little extra sunshine in my day.
Til we meet and eat again,

I never ate mango when I was a kid either, but I guess that actually no one did. They’re not too popular over here :'( I do love them though, so this smoothie sounds super lovely to me! What a great flavor combo! xx
Melanie says
That’s true. Maybe they weren’t as popular then. But I”m glad they found me. 🙂

This sounds super delicious! Summertime is the time for smoothies. I’d give my blender a break, but there’s still at least two more months of summer! I’m definitely going to have to add this to my smoothie rotation!

I just love mango! The first time I bought one, I had no clue how the heck to cut it. I tried slicing it right down the middle, like you would an avocado. Ummm, that doesn’t work. Totally botched it. Thank goodness for youtube!

Did you mean 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup greek yogurt? You wrote 1/4 cup with (4 oz.) next to it, but 4 oz. is a 1/2 cup. Just checking. Thanks.
Melanie says
Thanks for pointing that out Kristal! I must have been chasing butterflies while I wrote that. 😉

This looks so good! I love mango and never thought of putting it with vanilla! One question, though. Would this work with regular yogurt instead of Greek yogurt?

Yes, it would! You may need to add adjust the milk just slightly. Tinker with it and enjoy!

Delicious! I used oat milk. I needed to use more than 1/4 cup though, in order for the NutriBullet to do it’s job.
