Who likes breakfast? I certainly do. I don’t do well if I skip breakfast. I also certainly don’t like spending a lot of time on breakfast. I like to get eat something fairly quick and get my day going.
I love my morning smoothie. It fuels me and keeps me full. However, lately there is just one problem. It makes me so ever lovin’ cold. And it’s been a rough winter with sub zero temps, lots of snow and ice. So this girl doesn’t need to get any colder. That’s where this perfect parfait comes in.
I can assemble them in the jars the night before, pop on the lid and stick them in the fridge. Voila. Breakfast to go as you head out the door. Perfect for the kids or hubby as they embark on their day too.
This parfait combines granola, yogurt, fresh fruit and Nutella. Oh boy. The flavors sort of marinade together and it comes out delicious. If you’re not a huge chocolate fan sub out the Nutella for peanut butter or almond butter. Still tasty and delicious.
This is so pretty that I actually had a hard time eating it…at first. That thought didn’t last long. I devoured it and wished there was more.
Add this to your menu soon. I think you’ll surprisingly be impressed with the ease and deliciousness!
Love and blessings,
Melanie
