Greetings friends! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. We did. We were blessed to go away this year for the first time. We went to our favorite summer destination: Topsail Island, North Carolina. We went with our friends. Their 6 plus our 5 made for a great bunch of 11!
Oh how beautiful it is! Summer, fall, winter, spring. I’m sure it doesn’t make much difference. The ocean is always gorgeous in my opinion. These photos were taken from our trip this week. However none have been edited. Just don’t have the time.
We were able to do a bit of biking. Notice the gray skies. We didn’t have the best weather this week but we made the best of it.
The hot tub is always a great way to relax! And I surely took advantage of that.
We had some good frisbee competition on the beach. Here’s the 12 year old boys enjoying some fun.
Here’s an action shot hubby caught of me catching one. I’m a frisbee lover. 🙂
Here’s our annual visit to Highway 55. Have you heard of it? Burgers, steaks, shakes, fries. It’s a great family friendly place. My dude love the take home car that he gets to decorate with his own stickers.
Another gorgeous shot of the ocean.
Our much anticipated Shrimp Boil. It was delicious but we had to go with frozen corn versus fresh seeing as it is late November.
And my man with the crab legs. Oh my goodness. I love me some crab legs! And I ate my fair share too.
Look > > > He’s actually on the beach without a shirt. We did have 2 fairly warm days.
Just a few of the many people I’m thankful for. So blessed to be a mother. I never want to take this privilege for granted.
Gray skies meant a lot of game playing. Here’s the 32nd match of LCR (left, center, right)
So thankful for my husband who truly is a gift. It’s the best feeling to be with your best friend every day.
It was a wonderful week. I’m sad to be home but happy to have the memories.
I pray you had a blessed week with friends or family!
