Pina Colada Smoothie – How to make an easy healthy pina colada smoothie. Made with real coconut milk and pineapple juice. Recipe makes the perfect refreshing drink to bring you a taste of the tropics.
This smoothie first happened a few weeks ago when my daughter was sick. She had strep throat and really wanted to eat and but her throat hurt so much. I had recently purchased pina colada juice and she was totally diggin’ on it. And asked if she could have another glass. I decided to whip it up as a smoothie with some added fruit and coconut milk for more nutrition.
She loved it! And has since asked for again and again. I am pretty smitten too. Especially since I’ve been hooked on my banana chocolate smoothie for so long. It reminds me a lot of my recent pineapple coconut smoothie but it’s definitely it’s own star of the show! So I had to share with you.
Reasons to love:
Super easy – 5 minutes.
Healthy – fruit, fruit juice, and coconut milk
Smooth and easy for those days when you don’t want a meal.
Would I make it again? Absolutely! We’ve made it several times and I always forget how refreshing and simple it is!
Til we meet and eat again,
