My favorite fruit salad consists of 5 fruits. Apples, blueberries, bananas, grapes and strawberries. Occasionally I like to add kiwi or pear but this is my fav combo.
Requirements: crisp apples, firm grapes, just ripened bananas, plump blueberries and sweet strawberries. I love summer. Favorite season. Fruit salad just makes it even better.
In our little family we talk about some things over and over. One is what foods could you live on forever. My one son says chips (which he hardly ever gets so I think he’s just craving them madly), cheese and iced tea. My other son says fruit, pizza and corn dogs.
For me it would have to be bread, fruit and chocolate. I don’t know if I could eliminate all three at once. I probably could but you wouldn’t want to be within a 20 ft radius. I wouldn’t be nice. At all!

- 2 cups grapes, halved, if large
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 small crisp apples
- 2 medium bananas
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 juice of a lime
- 1 juice of a lemon
- Cut fruit to bite sized pieces as necessary.
- Stir orange juice, sugar, vanilla, lemon and lime juices together. Mix and quickly pour over fruit. Mix thoroughly. Enjoy!
