Handwritten Notes of Encouragement Day 6
Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Welcome to Day 6 of Handwritten Notes of Encouragement
We’re half way through. We’ve just completed days 1-5 of the challenge.
Friday’s challenge was to send a note to teacher, pastor or someone else you positively impacted your life. You can watch that video here if you’d like.
My post when out to an older woman friend who just poured into my life in the early stages of my Christian walk.
Please be sure to read the very first introductory post to catch up if you missed out.
Today’s challenge (DAY 6) is to send a card or note to:
Someone who is going through a difficult time or grieving a loss
Those days. We all have them, the down-in-the-dumps, no-fun, nothing-but-difficult days.
Days where the smallest of tasks seems nearly impossible and around every corner is a new challenge. Days where all you can think is “Lord, have some mercy.” It’s often in these difficult times that little rays of sunshine poke through the gray haze and provide that extra bit comfort and encouragement that makes the next step bearable. Do you know someone struggling or experiencing difficult circumstances? Won’t you be that ray of sunshine and send them some handwritten encouragement?
But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me. 1 Timothy 4:17
I have quite a few people that come to mind today so I may be sending out a handful of cards today. It’s so sad to think of all the wonderful people around us who are struggling. Be the light and let them know they are loved!

If you’re thinking of sending a gift, here are a few ideas.

PLEASE NOTE: I’m planning on being on Facebook Live about today’s challenge at a new time. I’m aiming for 2:30 EST time. Can’t wait to see you there!

Melanie Kathryn,
