Strawberry Vanilla Smoothie – Creamy blend of yogurt, milk, frozen strawberries and a dash of vanilla. Delicious recipe for breakfast or snack. 5 ingredients. 5 minutes.
Life doesn’t get sweeter than strawberries, eh? I don’t usually say ‘eh’ but I’ve always wanted to. So there you have it. But seriously strawberries, our family adores them. It’s so sad that they are only in season for 1 month here in Central PA. Makes me want to cry!
But I have found one great thing. Tada…. It’s called Freezing. I bet you were waiting for some never-before-seen-or-heard tip. But sorry. It’s all I got. Freeze your flippin’ berries and you can have smoothies and muffins all year long. Oh yeah! It’s what we do. And it’s why we can make smoothies year round.
P.S. Smoothies make the best healthy after school snacks. My kids love ’em. And I love that they’re good for them and fill up their bellies.
♥ This picture is here just because I stinkin’ love it! ♥
In order to preserve this awesome moment I think I’ll hang this print on our newly painted kitchen walls. I need some new decor so this might be just the thing. It just makes me want to go berry picking but it also makes me want to go make another smoothie.
Til we meet and eat again,
