Apple Crisp Pizza – Delicious apple dessert made with pie crust and topped with fresh apples and an crisp oat topping. Finished with a caramel topping. Delicious fall flavors. Perfect for dessert buffets.
Who here when they hearing the word pizza instantly has their ears perk up? Well, that’s me. Pizza? Oh yes, please! Dessert pizza, what could be better. I love real pizza but I also love sweet kind with fruit and sugar.
This apple crisp pizza is so much better than apple crisp in my humble opinion. I love that there’s flaky buttery pie crust going on at the bottom level. Then you have delicious softened cinnamon apples. Then a layers of cinnamon sugary oats. And top that all of with a delicious caramel sauce. Or you can skip that step if you prefer. Your choice.
I love apple desserts and almost anything with cinnamon so I knew this would be right up my alley. And I really think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the delicious taste too.
