Ingredients

Units Scale

For Cookie Crust:

  • 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs (or Oreos)
  • 6 Tablespoons butter (melted)

For Cookie Dough Filling:

  • 1/2 cup butter ((1 stick) softened)
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Fresh Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Finely crush chocolate wafers or Oreos. Use a food processor blender if possible. Combine chocolate wafer crumbs and melted butter in small bowl. Press this mixture on the bottom and up the sides of an 8 or 9-inch pie plate to form the crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl blend brown sugar and butter until creamy. Stir in milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually beat in flour. Mix in chocolate chips.
  3. Carefully spread cookie dough into chocolate pie crust. Refrigerate until chilled.
  4. Place mixing bowl and wire whisk in the freezer to chill for about 10 minutes. Remove bowl and whisk from the freezer. Pour whipping cream and sugar into the bowl and beat on medium speed until peaks form. Don’t over beat. Spread or pipe whipped cream over cookie dough layer and serve.
  5. Refrigerate or serve immediately.
