Welcome to Friday, friends! How are you? Busy, joyful, exhausted, stressed, content? What’s the best way to describe your week. I have to admit I’ve struggled this week. Struggled with content, lack of joy and motivation. All 3 did not come easy this week.
But you know what I still got up. I still prayed. I still praised. And that’s what’s important, not letting those stuggles get in the way of what is doing in your life. You still show up. You still keep going. There’s moutains and there’s valleys.
Even though this week felt like a valley. It doesn’t mean God left me to go at it alone. Heck, no. He’s there holding my hand guiding me back to the mountain peak.
FABULOUS MOMENTS THIS WEEK
This week has been a bit of a slow down pace. Yes, I’ve need to slow down. I enjoyed lunch out on the deck all alone for 2 days this week. It finally warmed up after a few really cold days so cold in fact that it killed my basil and probably other things. But I really like my fresh basil. Sob.
I captured a pretty rare moment between my 2 oldest. Rare like they don’t usually put an arm around each other WITH a smile. Had to grab that one.

FABULOUS FOOD FINDS FOR THE NEXT GATHERING
What’s up with apple cider? How is it different than apple juice. I still don’t know. Maybe you can educate me. However, one thing is perfectly clear. It tastes so good in October. Seriously, don’t apples taste better right now too? OK. So it’s just me. Whatevs!
Check out these amazing apple cider donuts from my gal, Julianne at Beyond Frosting. Aren’t they incredible looking?
I adore bagels. And a long time ago I used to put tuna on a bagel. And apparently my brain has totally forgotten about that dynamic duo. These tuna bagel melts {from Garnish and Glaze} look amazing. Definitely need to get that on the menu plan ASAP.
Homemade root beer? How cool is that? I like a really good cold glass of root beer and I can only imagine how good this homemade version from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe must taste.
