Life is Sweet –  Today I’m sharing a little bit about my story and the inspiration behind these Tees. As baker, photographer, friend gatherer I find that life is sweet and I am loving it.

Today I’m excited to share a bit of my story with you. It’s not extraordinary. It’s not boring. It’s perfectly mediocre. But that’s ok because it’s my story. And my life is sweet.

You see, I literally feel my life is sweet. Getting to bake for a living has its’ perks let me tell you. It’s got all the delicious licks, taste testing, and leftovers.

My journey to baker is somewhat surreal because I never intended on being a baker. Nor was I interested in it as a child. My love for baking grew after a became both wife and mother. This blog started back in 2013 on a whim to verbalize my life a bit on the blogosphere. I’ve shared parenting insights of mine, marriage triumphs and troubles, faith-based topics and of course, food. Food resonated most with me and I just found myself wanting to share more and more.

So I settled on food and I haven’t tired of it yet. I count it joy to be a food blogger. To work part time from home and still be here for my kids. To share my life with my friends online. I count it joy to teach others a few tricks I have about baking bread and desserts. I’m blessed and I know it.
