It’s gorgeous outside. Hello spring (finally) in Pennsylvania. We’re loving it!
We got to do a little of this:
Walks with the dog in the gorgeous sunshine.
And a little of this.
Some certain little someones have been begging for an egg hunt. They never get to old for an egg hunt, right? I’ll enjoy while it lasts.
And a little of this.
Hubby has been working so hard the last few weeks to rebuild the railing around the deck. Can you happen to tell how big our deck is? It’s huge. And it needs a lot of work. So we started with the railing.
He’s such a trooper. He took a day off of work and spend almost all day on this. So glad I married a hard working DIYer. Love him!
AFTER (So far.)
I’m so glad the boys have a good role model to teach them how to do things. One of the things I love about this man!
And a little of that:
Um….this house needs it just a little. I reward myself with Kisses for every spot I clean. Jealous? 🙂
Ooh and this. Mmmm. Made it for a pie. I got the leftovers.
My sweet almost 10 year old made us tacos for dinner this week. She was so proud of herself. She even had to mix the seasonings up because we didn’t have any already prepared. Maybe she’ll turn into my personal chef. I’ll do the baking. She can do the cooking.
Praying over the meal.
This weekend was wonderful. And one of the best parts of all was that we got to go on a date night. Woo-hoo! Doesn’t happen very often. I felt just a wee bit spoiled having the conversation and food all to ourselves. Unfortunately I didn’t take a pictures. But the memories will linger…
Here’s pic of us from February we got a little getaway. I’d marry him all over again if I could. 🙂
Hope your weekend is happening and good.
So what’s going in your life?
Love you all!

Thanks for sharing, Melanie! Weekends that are full of togetherness and DIY projects are always favorites for me. That photo of you and your husband is so cute. And hooray for date night!
