Handwritten Notes of Encouragement Day 10
Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Welcome to Day 10 of Handwritten Notes of Encouragement
You’ve made it to Day 10! I’m so proud of you! If you got 9 cards out the door so far…way to go! If not, go back this coming week and catch up on the ones you missed. Easy peasy.
Yesterday’s challenge was to send a note or card to a neighbor. I hope you have amazing neighbors like I do and found one to say ‘thanks’ to.
I’m doing a Facebook Live video everyday . You can watch yesterdays video here if you’d like.
Please be sure to read the very first introductory post to catch up if you missed out.
Today is our FINAL challenge (DAY 10) Send a note or card to:
DAY 10: SOMEONE WHO SERVES YOU REGULARLY
(THINK BUS DRIVER, TRASH COLLECTOR, BARISTA, ETC.)
Sometimes we take for granted the service of others. Whether it’s the barista at your favorite coffee shop, your kiddos bus driver or your trash collector, I promise you they all could use a “thank you” and kind word every once in awhile . Give back to your givers by handing them a handwritten note of encouragement! Hey, you may even end up with some extra whip on that latte!
Serve one another in love – Galatians 5:13
Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have. – Jim Rohn
A few resources that may inspire you.
The S-E-R-V-E Principe – Ken Sande
If you’re thinking of sending a gift, here are a few ideas.
Home baked goods; bread, candy, muffins, etc.
Send flowers.
A gift card to a restaurant for food.
PLEASE NOTE: I’m planning on being on Facebook Live about today’s challenge at a new time. I’m aiming for 2:30 EST time. Can’t wait to see you there!
