A chilled coffee blended with chocolate. This mocha with a hint of coconut hits the spot! Perfect cool down drink.
Ahh. Summer is treating me well. How about you? I’m enjoying morning runs, the kids sleeping in, trips to the park, evening walks and so much more. It’s fabulous.
And then this came along. Now it’s ultra fabulous!
I’m such a sucker for coffee. And those $3 and $4 drinks at DD and *Bucks are way too steep except for an occasional treat. So I’ve been trying my skills at home.
This recipe gives a huge shout to Vitamix. It came in the recipe book with my blender. What a treat it is. Only problem is I wish I would have found it earlier.
And don’t you just love glass garnish? It’s a new thing for me. Totally for the blog. You wouldn’t think I would fancy up some glasses just for family, would you?
Well, I suppose I could for a fancy occasion and it is really fun. So maybe. Next time you’re here ask for some glass garnish. I’ll hook you up.
Thanks for stopping by friends!
Til we meet and eat again,
Melanie

This is just the drink I would love after doing some yardwork for that afternoon pick-me-up.
I’m on the fence about getting a vitamix, I just want to make sure it’s worth the $!!!

Melanie – your glass garnish looks gorgeous! And such a gorgeous cup of coffee – for me too – coffee from DD and ‘Bucks tends to be an occasional treat, so I cannot wait to duplicate this recipe – love the sound of the coconut cream added in!

Oh how I miss being a kid during summertime. What fun! Have nothing on my list but to have fun. Can’t wait to relive it someday when I have kids : )
So fun that you found this recipe in your Vitamix little cookbook that comes with it! I should really read thru those. I bet the recipe has to be amazing if it made the cut for the company.
This coffee sounds delicious! I love iced coffee in the summer. Great way to cool off and get a little burst of energy to get me thru the day!

la la LOVE! I also love your routine…morning runs and evening walks 🙂 Ok, I will say sometimes it’s hard for me to be active super early but I try! Evening runs on a beautiful night are my favorite!! Back to the drink, I adore coffee drinks! I don’t have a vitamix, sadly – But can sure use my blender I have now! Pinned, thanks lovely!
