Very Berry Mini Trifles – Mini berry trifles made with angel food cake and brownies. Sweetened with home made whipped cream and assorted fresh berries.
Hey friends, we’re gathering around today for some cool summer treats. Today I’ve whipped you up some refreshing and sweet mini berry trifles. These are made with assorted fresh berries, cubed angel food cake or brownies and homemade fresh whipped cream. These are simple to put together and perfect for an afternoon or evening on the patio. I’d have no trouble getting my guests to eat these and I’d be quite alright if there were left overs!
The simple thing to do here is just head to your local grocery store and pick up prebaked brownies and angel food cake in the bakery and don’t forget to grab the berries and heavy cream. May I suggest you come home and whip it good. That’s right. To get started place your mixing bowl and wire whip in the freezer to get cold while you start rinsing the berries. And next you’ll cut up the angel food cake and brownies.

In addition, take your mixing bowl and whip from the freezer. Set up with stand mixer and whip it up well. Next we add sugar while whipping and beat until stiff peaks form.
How to assemble mini trifles
We will take small mason jars or medium glasses layer as follows:
- cubed cake or brownies
- fruit
- whipped cream
- cubed cake or brownies
- fruit
- whipped cream

Lastly, we will top these with some sprinkled cane sugar and fresh mint leaves. Otherwise you could try topping with some chocolate syrup before serving. If you need to make these ahead of time, prepare and place in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours. I wouldn’t let them sit longer than that for ideal freshness. To take the chill down a notch let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Til we meet and eat again,
