Broccoli bacon cheese ball. This appetizer combines the best, meat, veggies and cheese roll into a delicious ball. Perfect for party appetizers alongside crackers. Sure to be a hit when you serve it.
I seriously can’t believe it’s only 3 weeks until Christmas. My house isn’t completely decorated as I want it to be. Ahh. But I’m trying not to stress. It’s all good. It’s all ok. Just enjoy the season and the reason.
So I forget about the lights and garland that I still haven’t hung and I go bake. Takes all my cares away. As soon as I’m done baking I remember the cards that need to be addressed or the fact that I haven’t even updated the addresses since last Christmas. Or I start thinking about my coming crazy weekend when I’ll hardly be home. So then I go bake again.
Or I go dig in the fridge for a bite of this bacon cheese ball and all is well. 🙂
Appetizers. I love em. I guess I love a lot of food related things. But I seriously love an assortment of appetizers. Dinner could be all appetizers and I think that would be awesome. We do that on occasion just to make mom happy.
So this the perfect little appetizer to serve to your guests around the holidays. It’s simple to pull together and only takes a few ingredients.
By the way, if this sits in your fridge on a pretty little plate it may or may not be there when you return. My kids could not wait to indulge in this pretty little thing.

I’m a big fan of appetizers as well! This one looks so delish 😉
Thanks Consuelo. Lets have an online appetizer party sometime. 🙂
Cheese ball wrapped in bacon..I know this would be a hit in my house. My daughter loves anything with bacon. I love how there is broccoli in this recipe. My mouth is watering at how good this would taste. Yum!
Thanks Cindy. Bacon is a hit in our house for sure.
You had me at cheeseball. I love cheeseballs but never though of broccoli. Hopped over from Buns in my Oven. I am now hosting Tasty Tuesdays with nine other blogs. Please hop on over and link up this recipe and some others. http://bit.ly/1htHZV7

I’ll check it out when I get a chance. Thanks for stopping by!
hi, this is incredible. that is all 🙂
Thanks Christine!
I like that this is a liiitle healthier than a traditional cheeseball. Not that I won’t eat a traditional cheeseball-I will and I do. But brocoli and cheese seem like a tasty alternative to bacon bacon and more bacon!
Yes, a tad healthier. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by.
I love the idea of the chopped up bacon and broccoli in this, delicious!
Thanks Pamela! It ’tis delicious. Thanks for stopping by.
I’m stressing out a little that I’m not done with decorating, gift buying, or card making…at least I have fudge and cookie dough truffles though 🙂 I agree with you…baking just helps take all those cares and worries away! Love this fun cheeseball. It would disappear so quickly with my kiddos!
So glad I’m not the only one who gives up the world to bake. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
This looks yummy! I’m going to be taking this to a Christmas party this week. One question, is the broccoli cooked in any way or is it just raw?
For this recipe I used it raw, just chopped finely. If you want to try it cooked I’m not sure how it would turn out since it wouldn’t be firm. It might end up hopelessly gooey.
Hope everyone enjoys it!
How about roasting the broccoli first until its brown and crispy?
That may work. I haven’t tried it though. I’m assuming that if you roasted it that it would get soggy quickly though. Good luck!
