Pumpkin Chai Latte – Seasonal favorite. Homemade chai latte made with real pumpkin, chai concentrate, and some cinnamon, spice and vanilla for a pure cozy diy fall treat.
Today I’m serving up a seasonal recipe. It’s called pumpkin chai latte. It’s so funny how everyone flocks to the coffee shops as soon as they hear the words ‘pumpkin spice latte’. It’s like a magnet has been put out and everyone just feels drawn towards their local coffee place to grab this favorite.
This recipe is quite simple, you’ll be able to whip it up in minutes. It’s not 100% homemade because we’re taking advantage of the chai concentrate that you can find in most grocery stores. But that’s the beauty of this recipe. It’s ready super quickly.
I can’t remember the last time that I had this much fun taking photos or sipping whipped cream. Ahem! I wasn’t supposed to tell you that. But it was fun to photograph and fun to sip afterwards. And those cinnamon sticks, they smell amazing. I’m always drawn towards those amazing cinnamon-scented pine cones this time of year. Have you seen them at the stores? It’s like your nose is aware of them before your eyes even spot them.
This cinnamon scent doesn’t come close to those but it’s just as well because these are so pretty to decorate drinks and apple desserts.

Pumpkin Chai Latte
- 1 cup prepared sweetened chai tea concentrate (Oregon Chai or Tazo)
- 1 cup milk regular or almond
- 1/4 cup real pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice (optional)
- whipped cream optional
- Add chai concentrate, milk, pumpkin puree, and vanilla to a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Add cinnamon and allspice.
- Pour the latte into mugs. Serve with whipped cream and sprinkle with additional cinnamon. Serve immediately.
