Caribbean Berry Smoothie – Smooth refreshing taste of the Caribbean. This tropical smoothie combines fresh mixed berries with coconut and pineapple. Use any combination of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and more.
We went away several weekends ago. Great getaway. We had so much fun spending time together without interruption.
We had breakfast, lunch and dinner together with no fights to break up, no arguing over who sits where, no complaining. It was awesome. So awesome that we’re going to do it once a month. Mom….Dad…are you listening?
They so kindly watched the kids for us but I have no idea if they would want to do that to themselves every month! Haha. Nor, do we have the funds to go away every weekend. Sigh…how sad.
While we were away we grabbed lunch the one day while outlet shopping. While I was waiting for my food to be ready I was eyeing the menu next door. And the caribbean berry smoothie caught my eye.
I didn’t end up ordering it that day but it just sounded so refreshing. And Hello! I can’t wait another year or ten until I get back there to order that smoothie.
So alas, I’ve duplicated my best at home. I’m very impressed with the results. It’s oh so good. With the pineapple, coconut and berry flavors all equally shining I have no idea how to say which part I like best. So I won’t. It’s the perfect Caribbean smoothie in my humble opinion.
Now if only I could sip this poolside overlooking the ocean. Palm trees blowing in the breeze. Beachy music. Got my feel yet?You have any connections? I could totally use a girl getaway! I’ll make the smoothies.
Let me know when you find us a place, OK? Meanwhile I’m heading off to swim night at school. As close to paradise as I can get. Total joke!
That’s me trying to keep an eye on my 3 children in a very crowded pool. Best eyes are when I’m on deck. So, no swimming just sweating in an 90 degree environment.
I’m making it sound very fun,right? 😉
Til we meet and eat again,

This smoothie looks delicious! Sounds like you had a fun getaway. I love getting food inspiration from vacations and restaurants. 🙂
We did. I love the inspiration too. Makes me want to get out and about even more. Thanks for stopping by!
This smoothie does sound refreshing. Tropical for sure. If I were drinking this on vacation, I might add a little rum to it. Hey, I’m on vacation, haha!
Sounds good to me!
So glad you and the hubs got to get away! So glad you are sharing a piece of your vacation with us through this smoothie! I am curious – where did you get the coconut cream from? I’ve seen coconut milk, and coconut ice cream…
I actually had the hubby pick it up for me. One of the few times a year I didn’t go myself. I believe he found it in the specialty section of the beverage aisle. He also checked the Asian selection. So one of those two places is where it should be. Good luck!
I am totally with you, girl! I need a vacation so, so bad! Love your smoothie though, it looks so sweet and juicy… <3
Thanks Allie!

This sounds awesome Melanie, watch out Jamba Juice! I tried making a smoothie the other day and it was a total fail, I think I’m gonna have to stick to the tried and true recipes when it comes to smoothies.
Oh no! What do you think went wrong? This one is already tested and tried so feel free to give it a go. Good luck! 🙂
Doesn’t it feel great to take a little break once in a while? I’m all for monthly vacations too! I’m sure that sipping this berry smoothie would have me day dreaming of lounging on the beach in the Caribbean. Love the pineapple coconut tropical flavors!
