Another year has come and gone. It’s been a year of boldness, growth, and learning.
Gather for Bread has grown from a tiny little hobby to a nice little part time job that I love. Your sweet comments and photos of the goodies you’ve made are what bring me the most joy. When I hear you accomplished something great in the kitchen…that’s what gets my heart all happy. Thank you!
Today I’m sharing the TOP 10 recipes that are new or recreated for 2016. Get ready for all the favorites among our readers!
But before we get started I just need to share that, easy baked french toast casserole and German soft pretzel sticks still are outranking all the other recipes to-date. They’re just that good, I guess. ? We love our carbs, don’t we?
How To Make Roasted Vegetables
Lemon Blueberry Pancake Bites
From our friend Felesha, over at Say Grace blog. I think it’s the drizzle that does in on this one. That’s what does it for me, for sure.
Bacon Ranch Grilled Potatoes
I’m just speculating here, but I think this is a favorite because there are very few people in this world who don’t like cheese and bacon. I mean really. We like our bacon and we like our cheese. So, this was a match made in heaven.
Slow Cooker Clam Chowder
I’m sure this one is favorite because slow cookers are all the rage these past few years. Obviously, we want simplicity in our lives and I do believe our slow cooker gives us some sort of sense of accomplishment and organization. We got our meal in the crock pot at 10 am, give us a high-five. Amen?
P.S. My family LOVES this soup!
Pumpkin Whoopie Pies
Well, let’s see. We’ve got pumpkin and we’ve got cream. Need I say more?
These are so soft and fluffy. My family scarfs them down like nobody’s business!
Recipes to Feed a Crowd
You guys loved this one! And I can see why. Such a great round up of recipes from a bunch of our blogger friends. And I think we all at some point in our lives feel stumped about what to serve our guests. This post covers a great variety of recipes that leave us all swooning for sure!
Creamy Baked Corn with Parmesan
Holiday dish, side dish to bring to a friends house or just a simple appetizer. This dish is simple but beyond words for delicious. The whole family loves to hear me say I’m making this creamy baked corn.
1 Hour Dinner Rolls
By now, you all know how much I love my carbs. A holiday meal isn’t complete until there’s fresh bread or rolls on the table. But we don’t always have time for that. So this recipe helps solve that dilemma with rolls ready in just over an hour. Yes!
Perfect Sweet Tea
Friends gather. We serve sweet tea. It’s delish, refreshing and perfect both for lazy summer days and winter lunches with soup. If you’re a sweet tea fan, give this one a try. It’s my momma’s and it’s amazing!
Grandma’s Coleslaw
And following up with my momma’s sweet tea is Grandma’s coleslaw, which is my absolute favorite! Grandma was like most grammys and didn’t leave us an exact recipe but I did my best to put amounts to the ingredient list she left behind. So tasty!
Til we meet and eat again,
