Hello Friends. What a beautiful week, huh? It’s been gorgeous here in PA with perfect autumn weather. Just great for boots and cozy shirts and a warm cup of coffee.
FABULOUS MOMENTS THIS WEEK
My husband had the whole week off so I’ve been enjoying this week immensely.
On Sunday we spent the entire day with our good friends. On Monday evening we had dinner with other good friends. And on Tuesday we had breakfast with some good friends.
Can you tell we have some REAL good friends, in our life? We are blessed like crazy by our small group from church. The relationships we have built encourage us, challenge us and provide a ton of fun.
On Thursday we went to Lancaster, PA to meet up with my parents and have lunch at Miller’s. It was just a delightful afternoon with a delicious (yes, delicious) view of the back roads countryside just like I love.
And on Thursday afternoon we took the whole family to the shooting range for the first time. We’ve all been there but never all 5 of us together. We finally got a family membership to use. It was a fun watching them. I’d seeing my husband as the coach. He quietly spoke to them reminding them of all the gun safety rules they know. It was just a cool afternoon.

FABULOUS FOOD FINDS FOR THE NEXT GATHERING
All I can think about is pie after seeing these mini pumpkin pies (from A Spicy Perspective).
The chocolate fan in me is singing right now! I love everything about this decadent cake.Red Wine Chocolate Cake (from Life Love and Sugar). I know for sure I could never make a cake look this good. But I do know I could devour a lot more of it then even you or I would think.
I spotted these perfect cookies this week. What could be better. Pumpkin + Molasses. I see some dunking, some coffee and a tidy little stack of these in my very near future. Thanks for the perfect cookie Alice! Pumpkin Molasses Cookies (from Hip Foodie Mom).
FABULOUS PRODUCTS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW
These tribe bracelets from Cents of Style. They’re fashionable and giftable. I’d love to have a secret stash just to bless gal friends with on a day when they’re down. Plus a small stash for my self. They’re just great!
FABULOUS BOOK I’M READING RIGHT NOW
Marriage. Has there ever been anything so wonderful and so difficult to ever span the timeline of life? I think that answer is no. My marriage has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me besides Jesus. But yet some days it feels like the thorn in my side.
I love my husband immensely but our struggles are real just like every couple. We’ve been married 16 years now and we’re still learning about each other. I love this book Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. “What if God designed marriage to make us holy more than to make us happy?”
The title itself catches my heart instantly. I wasn’t given a husband so I could be happy and have all my needs meet. Gary does a phenomenal job of teaching us the true purpose of marriage.
This book gets a thumbs up. I’m savoring it and reading it slowly. There’s a lot of truth and it really needs to sink in deep.
What are your thoughts on the fabulous finds this week?
Thanks for being here friends!
Til we meet and eat again,
