Melanie’s Favorites
Chocolate Crunch Brownies
I can eat these like nobody’s. I kid you not! I will need to avoid these for a little while. But just you wait til February. Birthday treat – here I come.
Pretzel Rolls
Roll. Pretzel. Heaven. Need I say anything more?
Potato, Kale, Garlic and Cheese Pizza
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever made! The combo is altogether amazing.
Coconut Roasted Almonds
I never knew how delicious these could be until recently. I’m hooked for life! And I need a new stash for the pantry.
Banana Coconut Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Banana + chocolate chip = my fav combo. Add coconut and whipped cream, over the top goodness.
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
A childhood favorite that I finally added to the blog. I like these at Christmas or anytime I need chocolate.
Jalapeno Popper Zucchini Boats
Unfortunately, I can’t have these for awhile unless I want to buy off season gross zucchini. I think I’ll wait and it will taste even better come July. Nomnom.
Carl’s Favorites:
Chosen by him. Words my own. Because I put words in his mouth all the time. And in addition to that, he has to go to work so he really doesn’t have time to type his thoughts. He’d rather just say them. So I helped him out a little by telling you a little extra. Don’t tell him. Promise?
Fried Mashed Potato Balls
This one was loved by everyone on Pinterest too. Give it a few more weeks and I’m pretty sure it would have hit the top 10.
Kids loved ém. Hubby loved ém. Winner! {Only fried food on the blog.}
Creamy Turkey Lemon Rice Soup
In case you haven’t heard my man loves his soup. Just scan the page. He turned me into a soup fan. One more thing to be thankful for. Mark that down, Mel. Don’t forget it, former non-soup lover. He’s changed you forever!
Chicken Cordon Bleu Grilled Cheese
We love this sandwich. Family friendly and easy. Pair it up with soup and we’re set. Totally going on the menu much more.
Cream Cheese Filled Pumpkin Cupcakes
Picture my ‘ non-sweets lovin’ hubby eating 3 of these in one sitting. That he did! The man loves pumpkin and cream cheese combo.
Blueberry Whoopie Pies with Whipped Blueberry Filling
This one’s a total fraud. Seriously! It’s from 2013 but I let it slide. Why? Cause I love him and I did update the photos this year so of course it looks irresistible to him and I.
Pizza Soup- Loaded with Sausage and Pepperoni
Who would say no to this soup right? No one in my family would. It’s a keeper!
Creamy Baked Potato Soup with Bacon –
When isn’t potatoes and bacon a good combo? Never. ‘Nuff said.
Thanks for joining me as we stroll through our favorites over the year. It’s always a blast. Hopefully I didn’t bore you with our favorites because yours really are fun too.

What a delicious year you had, Melanie! I can’t wait to try some (or all) of these, starting with those cute pretzel rolls. I really haven’t been baking all that much lately, and I think my husband (and his coworkers) is really missing it ;). Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family!
